So true! I love that you have "the caring disorder" - a real burden for a director. "Theatre is the place where reality and illusion embrace or collide, facts and the fantastical co-exist."

Saw Billy J on the HBO R/R Hall of Fame 25th anniversary concert. OUCH and a waddle. But whatta a boomer. In fact, watch that concert - not too many of us will ever see a size six again - however, boomers sure can make music. Thanks for the smile.

Talk about capital gains. Good writing, Richard. Love that fat, gray, bottomed-out cloud that didn't shade your optimism.

Forget the Americana Manhasset! The candlelight procession from loft to sanctuary--THAT was the real Miracle Mile. Thanks for showing it to us Suzanne.

Wow! Thank you so much. I love Clari Drake. I think she's a hoot with pathos, if that's possible. But then again, I'm biased!

I was the object of an unscrupulous writer who hit my Madison Avenue-contracted bio with a frivolous, plagiarism lawsuit pre-publication. The fact is, we were both interested in the same topic, and I had a publisher; however, he had a lawyer. The publishing house defended me, and several years later the case was thrown out. However, my book died a slow death during the process; he self-published. Just thought I'd mention that you don't even have to steal anyone's words or worry about someone stealing yours; sometimes the flowers just eat the flowers.
