volume I, issue I
This month’s Tech spotlight be-longs to Jessica from Brea, Cali-fornia. She barrels down the SoCal trails on her 2008 Lux Sport. When asked about the handlingcapabilities she said it “respondsvery well.” She has put in over 400 miles on her Lux Sport byriding at least 2-3 times a week.By our estimation, with all thatriding, she’ll be ready for a Mis-sion by next Tuesday! She didmention, however, that before she takes the leap to a Mission or Sor-tie she would like to become a little more comfortable with downhill.Jessica, thank you so much for sharing you experiences on the LuxSport with us. We love the feedback! The search for next month’s Tech-Rider Spotlight has already begun. If you would like to be considered for the Rider Spotlight column, send usyour Diamondback story with all the gritty details (bumps, bruises, lostteeth) to teder@raleighamerica.com. Pictures are always welcome sodon’t be shy! For more information on the Diamondback Devine Linevisit our website at www.diamondback.com.

For those of you who are yetto experience life with theKnuckle Box suspension plat-form found exclusively on our Mission’s, Sortie’s, and of course the Scapegoat, wesuggest that you stop makingexcuses and get to it! No mat-ter what your style is; bombingdown the mountain side, or testing your metal on a long and arduousclimb, the Knuckle Box platform has got your back. Since the locationof the Knuckle Box lies just above the bottom bracket, it creates a lowcenter of gravity, providing the rider with an insane amount of stabilityand control. Right here is where we could break off into a technical rantand attempt to mathematically explain why the Knuckle Box platform isso great, but honestly why take our word for it? Get out and try it for yourself! Conquer your terrain and see where you end up. That’s whatDirt Rag’s Eric McKeegan is doing right now. You can follow Eric as hegives his first impression of theMission 3atwww.dirtragmag.com. If  you would like more info on the Knuckle Box suspension platform, visitour website,www.diamondback.com. If you are one of the thousands totame Knuckle Box the then by all means share you thoughts (and actionshots) with us by sending us an email at national@raleighamerica.com.
