basically this is an early test of scribd, the lots of wingdings come by because the font used on the original file was not present on the scribd script i guess, but that's an issue with whoever made the first document and adobe acrobat (meaning that if you don't have said fonts you will get them replaced too). I guess that this might have been corrected since but if not it shouldn't be so difficult (?). They just have to "see" what language the document uses and then use an alternate font for those that they don't have (say... Liberation Sans instead of this or that font). If you follow the link though you get the original version of the document (and one could presume that the download version was also left intact too).
