This is a doctoral thesis examining the adoption of the Internet in Indonesian Civil Society Organisations. The study started in July 2004 and concluded in October 2007. The thesis was supervised by Prof. Ian Miles and Dr. Lawrence Green and was defended on 7 December 2007 in the University of Manchester, examined by Prof. William Dutton and Prof. Philippe Laredo.
