100 Ways to Look & Feel Healthy This Summer

FUN IDEAS—AND GREAT DEALS—TO SPEND THE SEASON FEELING YOUR BEST!
We’ve teamed up with several retailers to bring you big discounts. Look for the People Perks codes throughout this story.

1. EMBRACE JESSAMYN STANLEY’S EVERY BODY YOGA. The social media star’s new book helps beginners start practicing yoga. Her advice? Don’t worry about keeping up with the class. “When you remove that attachment, you’ll be able to enjoy and appreciate it.”

2. RENT A BIKE. Get a set of wheels during your next vacation, as Alessandra Ambrosio did on the Santa Monica boardwalk. It’s the perfect way to see a city and get a dose of exercise.

3. Drink up. Fitness expert Jenna Wolfe recommends taking 20 sips of water when you first wake up to start the day hydrated.

4. Set your alarm for the same time every morning. Do it regardless of when you go to sleep. According to neurologist and sleep specialist W. Chris Winter, M.D., you’ll feel more rested if you stick to one wakeup time.

5. Run for at least five minutes a day. It’s linked to greater longevity. Researchers found it can lengthen life by about three years.

At the very least, it’s invigorating!

7. Get glowing with a red wine facial. Beverly Hills’ the Spa on Rodeo has a Divine Rouge organic skin treatment that uses red wine extracts to purify and detox the skin.
