Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein told lawmakers Tuesday he has not seen any evidence of “good cause” to fire the special counsel handling the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election and possible collusion between Donald Trump’s presidential campaign and Russian officials.
