ABSTRACT AND AMBIGUOUS

I WAS HAVING lunch dockside with a boatbuilder pal when he called my attention to an 80-ish-footer careening down the fairway, spewing a large rooster tail.

“What is she?” he asked.

“I have no idea,” I replied. “I can’t make out the logo. She looks like a doorstop.”

“Exactly!” he responded.
