Restoring the KESR-Rother Valley link will bring benefits to landowners

MY first reaction to Mr Courtney’s article in issue 238 was unbounded enthusiasm – but then I pondered having read to the end: even the lowest hurdle can conceal a ditch. I remembered the early days of the railways and how obstructive landowners can be.

I considered then the remarkable progress made with the Welsh Highland Railway.
