    Commentary: Bezos' lesson in defusing Trump fear

    A short, elegant letter to the world from Jeff Bezos, the world's richest man and the founder and chief executive of Amazon, came across the transom (via the website Medium) last week.

    I suspect Bezos' fixer - the eccentric philosopher, bestselling author and security titan Gavin de Becker - had a hand in the writing.

    It's first-rate clickbait. It mentions Bezos' "manhood" and his girlfriend's "cleavage." That Harlequin bodice-ripping jive is not Bezos' or De Becker's handiwork. Those words are taken from an unusual request
