Engineering losses create £330k hole in Llangollen Railway finances

MANAGEMENT at the Llangollen Railway (LR) is dealing with what it describes as a “difficult financial position” after the railway incurred a £330,000 loss during 2018.

The loss has been largely attributed to issues within the line’s contract engineering department, but deemed severe enough for Llangollen Railway
