But oh those summer nights

Summer is a great time to go out shooting rabbits. The warm evenings bring them out a lot earlier, providing you with plenty of opportunities.

The onset of longer summer days should not, however, rule out night shooting. During these months I tend to use night vision rather than a lamp as it is stealthier and it gives me the chance to shoot a larger number, should the landowner want that.

Two pieces of kit I use are the Yukon Photon RT 4.5x42S and the Pulsar Quantum Lite XQ23V. First,
