PRIDE AND JOY
Early last year, my husband Ben, 33, and I were out and about shopping.
As we passed the jewellers that we’d bought our wedding rings from in 2016, I stopped walking.
‘Ben?’ I said, turning to face him.
‘Are you okay?’ he replied.
‘Would you like to marry me again?’ I said spontaneously.
In the past year, Ben has lost an outstanding amount of weight.
His wedding band vanished after it kept falling off.
‘Of course!’ Ben smiled.
And in the spur of the moment, we purchase two new white gold rings and promised to renew our wedding vowes.
Our two children, Thomas, 12, and Ella, nine, will love to join in the celebrations.
Ben really is my childhood sweetheart.
His life revolved around food
Our mums are best friends, and we met when we were in nappies.
