REIGNING ‘STRICTLY’ CHAMPION KELVIN FLETCHER ON HIS FAB-U-LOUS FAMILY AS HE HOPES THE SHOW WILL RETURN

After lifting the Glitterball trophy following his victory on BBC1’s Strictly Come Dancing , actor Kelvin Fletcher began the year with plans and auditions for TV, film and theatre projects.

“Then the world hit pause, and everything has had to be put on hold,” the former Emmerdale star tells HELLO! in our exclusive interview. “I had two or three weeks when I was auditioning and having productive meetings, then Covid hit.

“It has been a little frustrating as things were stopped in their tracks, but I’m treating it as an opportunity to reset and have a longer post- Strictly holiday than expected.”

After spending a lot ofstint, which also saw him hit the road for a four-week tour, lockdown has meant that he and his wife Elizabeth and their daughter Marnie, three, and son Milo, 18 months, have “never spent so much time together”.
