n the late 1990s, members of the Type 3 Mailing List started talking about a get-together. Brian Fye, from Oregon, started planning…something. He booked a drive-in theater for a weekend in Parma, Idaho. He planned for some tech sessions, an activity he enjoyed while attending a national Austin Healey meet a few years prior. Finally, he looped in John Jaranson from Michigan to help with the shirt design. Every VW event needs a shirt to be official.
