Description

With more than 15 million copies in print, More Than a Carpenter continues to be one of the most powerful evangelism tools worldwide. Josh McDowell's timeless examination of the true nature of Christ and his impact on our lives is one of the best-selling Christian books ever. Written by a former skeptic of Christianity, it answers the tough questions about Christ's deity and the historical reliability of Scripture. In a concise, understandable manner, Josh explains why Christ's claims are true and how that reality can change a person's life.

This book presents logical arguements for Christ, His life, His works, and the validity of His claims.

This is fascinating. I listened to a video on "Evidence that demands a verdict", by the same author, when I was a teen. Reflecting again today on the bible, I came across this book.
Now the challenge... pass it on.

Looking for truth? It is a great story and explanation of it. Please take a few minutes to read it. You won’t regret it!

This book is very interesting, inspirational and right on the mark. I can see why so many lives have been changed through it's message. Very good record too by the author.

The chapter on the resurrection is the best. Probably best to read (or listen to) just that chapter and maybe if you like interviews, those. I like testimonies of transformed lives, so I'm surprised at how disappointing Mr McDowell's testimony was (He learned to SAY "I love you" to his dad, but did he ever actually love him? Maybe if I heard this part of the story it wouldn't be as disappointing). Maybe the part that was distasteful to me was the unscriptural sinners-prayer-ish thing.
