Philippa Fisher's Fairy Godsister
Written by Liz Kessler
Narrated by Kate Reinders and Julia Whelan
Description
Philippa Fisher is just your average eleven-and-a-half-year-old girl-she's a bit shy and not the most popular girl at school. But all that changes one day when a new girl named Daisy arrives at school and reluctantly confesses that she is Philippa's very own fairy godsister.
Unfortunately for Philippa, Daisy is one fairy who is not too fond of humans, and so she isn't pleased about having to help Philippa. In fact, she wants nothing more than to grant Philippa her three wishes quickly so that she can move on to a new assignment.
However, things aren't that simple. Philippa and Daisy just can't seem to get along, and Philippa's wishes keep making her life worse rather than better. Will Philippa and Daisy be able to come together to solve the mess they've created before it's too late?

What people think about Philippa Fisher's Fairy Godsister
4.3Reader reviews
- (5/5)I thought the book was a fun magical adventure about friendships and how life is not always fair. You should never want to be some one other than yourself.
- (4/5)This book is about a girl who is so sad. Her best friend just moved. At school a new girl come s and grants her three wishes on a shooting star.
- (4/5)I like this wish filling fairy (Daisy), she's snide and funny. Eleven year old Philippa's life isn't perfect. Her overly exuberant parents embarrass her, her best friend moved away and there are some mean girls at school. So when Daisy gives her three wishes, she is thrilled. But, of course, it doesn't turn out the way she planned and lessons are learned in the meantime. This engaging book will be popular with the 3rd grade to 5th grade crowd.
