A simple guide to achieve minimalism in life , I have already started applying some of the principles in this book in some of the areas of my life . As said in the book minimalism is an ongoing process and hence one should listen to this repeatedly until it’s deeply embedded in your system . Highly recommend this book

Simple and precise advice to minimalism. The tips given here are useful too.

I listened to this book immediately after listening to his other book called "Focus". Many of the ideas and concepts overlap between the two books, so I didn't find too many things in this one that was not covered in his other book. However, I did enjoy this book and a general sense because it is very practical and down-to-earth regarding the advice and encouragement provided to live a minimalist life. There are even a few concepts in this book that were not touched upon in "Focus". In this book, when I got to a topic that was already mentioned elsewhere, I just skip the chapter. I do recommend this book even if other books by this author have been read, or if his blog posts have been read as well.

Things listed in this book are fairly common sense. Watching a Netflix documentary or watching some YouTube videos on Minimalism can gain the same knowledge that this book provides.

It’s insanely boring and unrealistic. Thought I’d give it a try, but it wasn’t worth it.

I like it. This is a brief book about some advices about the minimalist life.

Short, give lots of pointer, it isn’t “preaching” his own philosophy, and admits to his own life’s inconsistencies with his newfound beliefs.
Give it a 4 because it is kind of repetitive in a few sections, but overall really enjoyed it.
I am not a minimalist nor do I want to be — cause I dream of my own mini library one day with many first edition books — but there are areas of life I have been approaching in a minimalist style such as the way I eat.

I have now included time of decluttering in my daily routine. I never thought that this too needs a thought. My room, office, desktop, study now looks elegant and i have done away with lots of stuff even from my car, which i felt important to b with all the time. Thank you. I am writing a column which will appear in a daily newspaper in Kashmir, since author has given permission to do so. It helped me to do away with distractions. It is goin to help someone else also. Thank you

Using it as a bible! I have done 5 or 6 horrible movings in the last 3 years, including one in Singapore, my boyfriend’s house.. we trash 2.5 tons of trash, paper, furniture, etc
Now Im moving to Madrid for 15 months and Im planning to reduce up to 70% of what I have... I’ m documenting it because I keep getting lost among my belongings and thoughts..
