Description

Rich Dad's CASHFLOW Quadrant reveals how some people work less, earn more, pay less in taxes, and learn to become financially free.
Have you ever asked yourself:

•Why do some investors make money with little risk while most other investors just break even?
•Why do most employees go from job to job while others quit their jobs and go on to build business empires?
•What does the shift from the Industrial Age to the Information Age mean to me and my family?
•How can I use this change to my best advantage and chart my path to financial freedom?

CASHFLOW Quadrant was written for you if you are ready to…

•Move beyond job security and begin to find your own world of financial freedom
•Make significant changes in your life
•Take control of your financial future

"The main reason people struggle financially is because they have spent years in school but learned nothing about money. The result is that people learn to work for money…but never learn to have money work for them." -Robert Kiyosaki

About the author

Best known as the author of Rich Dad Poor Dad the number 1 personal finance book of all time Robert Kiyosaki has challenged and changed the way tens of millions of people around the world think about money. He is an entrepreneur, educator, and investor who believes the world needs more entrepreneurs who will create jobs. With perspectives on money and investing that often contradict conventional wisdom, Robert has earned an international reputation for straight talk, irreverence, and courage and has become a passionate and outspoken advocate for financial education. Robert and Kim Kiyosaki are founders of The Rich Dad Company, a financial education company, and creators of the CASHFLOW games. In 2013, the company will leverage the global success of the Rich Dad games in the launch of a new and breakthrough offering in mobile and online gaming. Robert has been heralded as a visionary who has a gift for simplifying complex concepts. He has shared his personal journey to financial freedom in ways that resonate with audiences of all ages and backgrounds. His core principles and messages like Your house is not an asset, Invest for cash flow, and his predictions in Rich Dads Prophecy ignited a firestorm of criticism and ridicule, only to have played out on the world economic stage over the past decade in ways that were both unsettling and prophetic. His point of view is that old advice go to college, get a good job, save money, get out of debt, invest for the long term, and diversify has become obsolete advice in todays fast-paced Information Age. His Rich Dad philosophies and messages challenge the status quo. His teachings encourage people to become financially educated and to take an active role in investing for their future.

To call this a good book would be an understatement of monumental proportions. An understanding of the fundamental concepts revealed within should be required for graduation from middle school. You'll say to yourself and others; "Why on earth didn't they tell me about this in school?" The answer, regrettably, is because they didn't know. I predict this is a book you'll read more than once. Sincerely, Stenn

A simplified way of looking at finances. A bit overly simplistic but the ideas are interesting.

I found this audio book to be fantastic. While some of the data is out of date due to "The laws being changed as soon as this is recorded", to quote Dave Ramsey, all in all the ideas I believe to be sound. Hearing the audio book is pushing me to take the next action to try to move myself from the E to the I and/or B quadrants. I go to loook for a new mentor and some other ideas. I also saw the insight about important people in my life, like my wife and my dad, which certainly fall in the S quadrant, even if they have never succesfully run their own business. Hearing this audio book also makes me want to again purchase the full version of Kiyosaki's first book "Rich Dad Poor Dad" both for myself as well as for those who are important to me. It's challenging, and can be overwhelming. While still swimming in personal debt, I don't want to get sidetracked, but I certainly don't want to remain where I am. I hope you will take a look and embrace where you are. Determine if you are primarly an Employee, a Sel-Employeed Person, a Business Owner, or an Investor. Know how to identify problems and provide solutions in all four and "work smarter not harder" to better your life.

The book was first recommended to me when I was self employed (S Quadrant) about to burn put. Of course, I didn't read it then and did in fact burn out. Reading this book now blew my mind, not just because now that I lost my business I actually have time to read but also because Robert so wisely tells in the book exactly why I am here now. A definitive read for everyone interested in money and how to handle it.
