I think Jason McCoy's narration is ruining it for me. I find it difficult to concentrate with the voice of Jason McCoy since he only reads the text without any variations in the tone which makes it difficult for me personally to concentrate or understand some parts since it's monotonic all the time. It's not the first time to face such problem with Jason McCoy's narrations

Is it just me or do others also feel that the narrator was actually trying to run down sentences??

Well the recording is pretty clear but as normal speaking habbits, many take a pause between paragraphs or topics. I heard this for the first time and was like, he is just running throught sentences.

But nonetheless, it's an amazing book to read/hear in this case!!

The most comprehensive self-help book I ever read. And I read a lot of them. It explains everything about many questions us human beings ask about why certain things happen "to" us. It should be compulsory reading in school.

Interesting reading on self-actualization. This book arrived in a box of books and borrows idealogically from Napoleon Hill and Dale Carnegie. It has an inspirational, almost evangelical, quality to it that may be as much a reflection of past mindsets and values as it is timeless advice. Ignore the parts that are not helpful and take advantage of those that are. The advice in the book is generally good.

Joseph Murphy is one of the all-time greats. He tells us about the amazing powers of our subconscious mind to heal us and provide us with everything we want, when we convey positive ideas to it by ?repetition, faith and expectancy?.Our subconscious has the answer to all problems, if we give the right orders to it. ?Change your thoughts, and you change your destiny?.?Think good and good follows. Think evil, and evil follows.? Your subconscious mind accepts what your conscious mind decrees. Watch what you say. Never say ?I can?t afford it?. Whatever your conscious mind believes to be true, your subconscious will accept and bring to pass. ?Believe in good fortune, divine guidance, right action and all the blessings of life.??Your subconscious mind controls all the vital processes of your body and knows the answer to all problems.?You can state to your subconscious prior to sleep that you wish a certain thing accomplished; forces within you will be released, leading to the desired result.?Imagine the happy ending or solution to your problem ? and what you imagine and feel will be accepted by your subconscious mind and (be brought) to pass.?The Bible itself tells us how to use our subconscious powers:?Whatever things soever ye desire, when ye pray believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.? ? Mark 11:24.?All disease originates in the mind. Nothing appears on the body unless there is a mental pattern corresponding to it.?Murphy advises us to stop talking about our ailments or giving them a name. We need to believe in perfect health, prosperity, peace, wealth, and divine guidance. If we desire to heal an ailment we can use the author?s ?passing-over technique?. We can declare firmly and repeatedly ?It is passing away now. It is passing away now.?He also gives us the visualization techniques, the mental movie method, the Baudoin technique, the sleeping technique, the thank-you technique (Thank you, Father, for my wealth), the affirmative method, the argumentative method and the decree method. What you decree and feel as true will come to pass. ?Decree harmony, health, peace and abundance.?Prior to sleep ask your subconscious for an answer to any problem, and it will answer you.It is normal to be healthy, and abnormal to be ill.The main reasons for failure are lack of confidence and too much effort. Relaxation is the key ? easy does it.The three steps to success in prayer are:1)Look at the problem.2)Focus on the solution.3)Rest in a sense of deep conviction that it is done.Don?t think of how to solve the problem. Just imagine the happy ending, feeling it as best you can. There is an answer and solution to every problem. The feeling of health produces health, the feeling of wealth produces wealth.?Imagination is your most powerful faculty. Imagine what is lovely and of good report. You are what you imagine yourself to be.If you wish to acquire a wealth consciousness, repeat for about five minutes to yourself three or four times a day ?Wealth-Success?. ?These words have tremendous power --- There is no conflict in the mind when you say ?Wealth?. Furthermore, the feeling of wealth will well up in you as you dwell on the idea of wealth.?Your affirmation succeeds best when it does not provide a mental conflict, as it may do when you affirm ?I am prosperous?, when you are not. Your subconscious accepts what you really feel to be true.Murphy suggests repeating the following affirmation prior to sleep: ?By day and by night I am being prospered in all of my interests.?He instructs us to repeat ?Wealth?, over and over again, like a lullaby, as we go to sleep at night. We will be amazed at the result. Wealth should flow to us in avalanches of abundance. (I have begun to do this.)It is our right to be rich. Poverty is a mental disease. This book is absolutely a must read since it provides us with basic and inspiring information about how to manifest wealth, health and all good things ? how to transform your life for the better.Highly recommended!

It has some good stuff to offer, but I thought that it was rather repetitive after the first few chapters and had too many biblical phrases for my liking.

    Thanks.
