- (4/5)I initially thought this book may be a little boring and lack substance. However, I was pleasantly surprised as this book is very inspirational. Douglas pulls no punches in his description of life after a stroke. The struggle of learning to speak again, the depression, anxiety and frustration are all big road blocks to recovery. Douglas also tells of others who have overcome significant physical disabilities and gone on to a succesful, fullfilling life. If you have had a stroke or know someone who has then IU would highlt recommend this book.
- (5/5)Inspiring and encouraging! Lots of laughs and tears. Thank you Mr. D.
