Description

Simon Snow is the worst Chosen One who's ever been chosen.

That's what his roommate, Baz, says. And Baz might be evil and a vampire and a complete git, but he's probably right.

Half the time, Simon can't even make his wand work, and the other half, he starts something on fire. His mentor's avoiding him, his girlfriend broke up with him, and there's a magic-eating monster running around, wearing Simon's face. Baz would be having a field day with all this, if he were here — it's their last year at the Watford School of Magicks, and Simon's infuriating nemesis didn't even bother to show up.

Carry On is a ghost story, a love story and a mystery. It has just as much kissing and talking as you'd expect from a Rainbow Rowell story — but far, far more monsters.

A Macmillan Audio production.

Critic reviews

  • "Carry On" is a delightful read that will appeal to Harry Potter fans, who will probably see similarities between the stories and characters. Having said that, if you're new to the genre, this could be a good place to start: It's less about wizard life, and more about the relationships the characters develop with each other.

This was a reread and first time listening to the audiobook, loved the narrator, and actually listened to the sequel as well instead of reading the hard copy as I’d planned because I loved him so much! (He has a perfect Baz voice)

The beginning is quite slow, it gets way better once baz comes around, so just push trough the slow beginning and you'll be rewarded by a toxic but cute non the less relationship. I loved it . Tho Agatha was a bit pointless and super annoying to me

My comfort book. It has been for the last several years and I don’t think it’ll ever stop being it. Going to reread the sequel now. Excited for the finale this year.
