Description

The marriage is fake. But for a sassy chef and an arrogant billionaire, the sparks are real…

Jackson "The Beast" Boudreaux is rich, gorgeous, and unbelievably rude to the staff at Chef Bianca Hardwick's New Orleans restaurant. Bianca would sooner douse herself in hot sauce than cook for Jackson again, but when he asks her to cater his fundraiser, Bianca can't refuse, knowing the cash will help pay her mother's medical bills. Then Jackson makes another outrageous request: Marry me. The unconventional offer includes an enormous sum—money Bianca desperately needs, even if it does come with a contract—and a stunning ring.

The heir to a family bourbon dynasty, Jackson knows the rumors swirling around him. The truth is even darker. Still, he needs a wife to secure his inheritance, and free-spirited, sassy Bianca would play the part beautifully. Soon, though, their simple business deal evolves into an emotional intimacy he's built walls to avoid.

As the passion heats up between them, Bianca and Jackson struggle to define which feelings are real and which are for show. Is falling for your fake fiancé the best happy ending…or a recipe for disaster?

I started with second book and it was great! But this one... not so good!

I'd actually thought this book was gonna end up being super cheap and kinda cheesey based on the title, but it actually turned out to be pretty good. It should have a title worthy of the content. Aside from that I liked it and will surely look for other books by this author.. naturally, I won't judge them by their cover.

It was kind of dragging, and no epilogue (sorry sucker for epilogues ?) but it’s still nice and would still recommend it ❤️❤️

This book was so much fun to read!! It's been a long time since I could say that about a story I've read. The characters rang true to the place where the story, New Orleans. The characters were all fully flushed out and the writing caused me to care about and enjoy each one, even characters that would normally not be front and center had so much personality that I found myself also waiting to see what they were up to. This is the first book I've read by this author but I have already saved a few more because I've enjoyed this one so much. I listened to this one on audio book. The voice actors were amazing. ESPECIALLY the female voice actress. She made the books come to life and seem so real.

    This was freaking hilarious!

A fun romance that had me laughing out loud. I have never laughed so much at the dialogue of a main character in a contemporary romance. The romance was pretty sweet, but for me the best part was Bianca’s crazy-ass talk and inner monologue. Bianca is my new role model coz the girl is the bomb! 5 plus stars just for her...
