About this audiobook

A lost virgin vampire queen. Two vampire knights sworn to protect her. It's about to get very hot . . . and bloody . . .

Ever since her mother was murdered by monsters five years ago, Shara Isador has been on the run. Alone, scared, and exhausted, she's finally cornered in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Out of hope with nowhere else to turn, she's ready to end it all when two men come to her rescue.

They say she's a lost queen descended from Isis, and they're her Blood, vampire knights sworn to protect her. It all seems like a crazy nightmare, until the alpha offers his blood. Then she realizes she's never wanted anything more. Except maybe his body . . . and his friend's, too. But they're not the only ones searching for a lost queen. Shara must learn how to wield her new powers quickly and conquer her fears if she intends to keep them all alive.

Felt no connection to the characters and had too much sex. That wouldn’t be a problem if it were good … but it wasn’t. I was just extremely bored the whole time and felt there was no actual chemistry between the main character and her bloods. Like they would just literally do you know and that was a connection there was like nothing else except that it could’ve just been written so much better and if the author had given them more of a storyline or more chemistry then it would’ve been more enjoyable.
However I’m still going to give the next book a try because I like the whole vampire thing going on in the queens and all that like that’s something I’m excited to learn more about but if that’s not included a lot of the next book I’m just gonna give up on the series.
anyway I’m sorry about the horrible review but I’m literally speaking into my phone and it’s typing it out so you get what you get but I hope this helps somewhat

Great book with a interesting story line and new take on "vampires". I'm about 3/4 the way thru this 1st one and already can't wait to start the next one to see what happens next. OH! Please people if you are not into BDSM, gay sex or blood play, for the love of all that is holy, just don't start this book! So tired of all the bad reviews on books bc you didn't read or listen to the preview and it offended your delicate sensibilities and not bc of the actual story line or narrator! Don't expect a book to be something it is not. This book is full of sex, M/F/M, blood play (duh! Vampires!), Medium level BDSM, with some great descriptions. Narrators did well also. Story line is a bit different but does have some predictable spots. It's a good listen.

Story was nice, makes me curious on what is her lineage background, what will her power be, etc. The VA’s not so great, i think it doesnt fit the character. They sound old to me.

I couldn’t get into this book, the sex was hot (although interrupted by their thoughts) but other than that the story line was boring and uneventful. Couldn’t finish.

This book is a good start to a series drenched in lots of fun, paranoramal intrique, plots and machinations, and sex. Lots and lots of blood kissed, menage, no holds barred paranormal sex.

    Lol.

It's told in multiple first person so that everyone gets a chance to show their POV. Nothing gets missed. This book basically sets up the series. I did get a bit tired of some of the human aspects of Shara's personality and beliefs getting in the way of what needs to get done, but she gets over it. The point is that she didn't grow up in the world that she is now a part of, so she isnt already "tainted" by it.

She has one or two really TSTL moments but if you can get past them, the series pans out. Her naivety gets a little tired, but again, it pans out later in the series as it develops.

Read this is you are looking for a new series, like lots of hot paranormal menage, and like dynamic, progressive series that actually end.

this was good! i wanted to read something short and sweet to tide me over while i take a little break from midnight sun.
definitely gory, lots and lots of blood in a ~sexual~ manner. i like all three of our characters, i'm just worried shara will become carried away with her magic. we shall see where this heads!! it's reminding me a lot of the four psychos series, but the lore reads like black dagger brotherhood. i'll start the second book and just see how i'm feeling from there. i stopped the four psychos series on the last book because i just got so bored of the plot, hopefully this series doesn't go the same way.
