Description

Dawn Oliver—daughter of theater royalty, talented in her own right, and, according to the internet . . . a complete and total fraud.

All she wants is a fair chance to prove herself—no nepotism, no social media campaigns, no sponsors. Just pure talent, which she has in spades, if she can just get someone to believe in her.

The way Patrick Bell does.

Straightforward, self-assured, and exactly the kind of energy Dawn needs, if he can get past his own demons. He's good with life as it is—he's managing, with no expectation of anything beyond a casual connection.

A chance meeting brings about an unexpected spark of chemistry . . . leading to a bond neither of them seems to be able to get away from.

Contains mature themes.

I'm going to preface this review by saying, Kora and Tariq are the reason husbands, wives, girlfriends, and boyfriends NEVER trust so called "BFFs" of the opposite sex. With that being said, I have to say, Inevitable Conclusions started out kind of slow for me. Even with it opening with a sex scene. But, as the book progressed, it really started to pick up. I'm a sucker for friendship turned lovers so, while I loved Tariq and Kora as a couple, they worked my last nerve! They spent so much time worrying about why they shouldn't be in a relationship when, whether they knew it or not, they had already been in one for 30 years! ??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️ It seemed like everyone but them knew they loved each other and should be together. I'm just glad it didn't take most of the book for them to finally find some common sense and come to that realization. This romance was swoon worthy and real. You honestly can’t go wrong with a Christina C. Jones book. I am definitely her new number one fan!
