      It was cute, and sweet, and it ended beautifully. The characters were far from perfect (as they should be), but they weren’t easy to root for. Prudence was annoying, Quint was charming, and the idea of Karmic Justice, while feeling under-developed, was enjoyable. Overall, I’m not exactly sure whether I would recommend this or not. I guess if you’re a fan of the author, then go ahead. But if you’re looking for a title that would introduce you to Marissa Meyer’s writing, I strongly suggest starting with The Lunar Chronicles, Heartless, or Renegades.
