- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The story is great. Tense moments and a good love story. However… I really hate how the male narrator sounds like he’s always yelling. There isn’t any fluctuation in his story telling. He isn’t a bad narrator - just would be better if he used different tones rather than yelling.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A heart stopping, thrilling romance read. Anya finds herself on a mission to prove herself worthy, but of what I don't even think she knows. After her boyfriend Jake dumps her at a friend's party she quickly finds herself with a former love intrest Colby. In the end there are heart stopping thrills and a choice to be made...but the book leaves us with a true cliffhanger! Can't wait to read/listen to more about this incredibly strong character Anya. Narration was perfectly performed and really brought these characters to life!

I had read this ebook previously, but different things pop in the audio vs ebook, and you see the story with new “eyes”. During the climb up Widow’s Walk, the story telling was so fraught with tension that my muscles actually felt a little tired after listening to it!
Kelly Lindsay was terrific for Anya, Jay Alder as the narrator for Jake was cockier and louder than I expected, but I realized, it fits.
I’m looking forward to the next book in the trilogy (Unraveled Hearts), because I really need to know, who will Anya choose?
