- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I really enjoyed this story, it made me laugh and had a lovely epilogue. The story also caused me to look up hermit crabs and keeping them as pets. I was horrified to learn they are taken from the wild for the pet trade. I hope nobody is encouraged to become a hermit crab prison warden because of this book.

I did not like the Dirk, at all. I struggle to think of a redeeming quality of his. I had paused listening to the audio book for a couple days and as soon as I jumped back in and on his perspective I immediately turned it off. Guy is a jackass. The way he views women and the fact he can’t think of anything but his dick and I’m sick of him.
He’s a sexist jerk with grade school sex jokes constantly being told during his POV - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Pretty good. Enjoyed the storyline. Was a little cliché though. I think everything happened a little too fast for my general liking
