About this audiobook
An unfathomable power
Nesta Archeron has always been prickly—proud, swift to anger, and slow to forgive. And ever since being forced into the Cauldron and becoming High Fae against her will, she’s struggled to find a place for herself within the strange,
deadly world she inhabits. Worse, she can’t seem to move past the horrors of the war with Hybern and all she lost in it.
The one person who ignites her temper more than any other is Cassian, the battle-scarred warrior whose position in Rhysand and Feyre’s Night Court keeps him constantly in Nesta’s orbit. But her temper isn’t the only thing Cassian ignites.
The fire between them is undeniable, and it only burns hotter as they are forced to work closely together.
Meanwhile, the treacherous human queens who returned to the continent during the last war have forged a dangerous new alliance, threatening the fragile peace that has settled over the realms. And the key to halting them might very
well rely on Cassian and Nesta facing their haunting pasts.
Against the sweeping backdrop of a world seared by war and plagued with uncertainty, Nesta and Cassian battle monsters from within and without as they search for acceptance—and healing—in each other’s arms.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5This book should have been 200 pages max. How is there so much sex and no chemistry?? Too many pages and chapters upon chapters and yet nothing keeps happening until everything worthwhile just barrels over and is done before it can register. Also everyone is an idiot now.
Getting very bored of the resurrection trope as well.
Barely worth the time and the protagonist swap did not work out either. No one is developing and it feels like treading in place without going anywhere and then someone comes along and pushes you down some stairs. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I think this is my favorite book in the series. Maas knows how to write trauma and relationships so well, I can't wait to see what happens next!!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Amazing book! Definitely a worth reading series! I love all the characters

Where do I even begin!
I'm probably going to sound like everyone else but I hated Nesta. I didn't like her attitude. She was always so rude for no reason. She was annoying. Literally could not stand her.
UNTIL I read A Court of Silver Flames.
She had gone through so much and just buried herself deep into swallows to hide it all. I feel like that is relatable to a lot of people in real life.
I love her redemption story. Her getting to finally realize and face her true feeling for the people around her.
The relationship built with Gwyn, Emerie and Nesta was fantastic. I love the bounding they had. The cute times they spent together. Something many people long for in real life. I like the idea of them recreating Valkeries.
At the end when Nesta realized she needed her sisters. They were there for her through it all doing everything the could no matter what. That they all loved each other so much.
Cassian in this book! Oh Cassian! I cannot get enough of him! He is so kind and loving. He understands Nesta and does the things she ask. Even though she was mean to him for no reasons. Only because she was afraid of herself.
THEY ARE MATES! I did guess this part but I loved it just as much as I thought I would! Perfect.
The spice in this book is WAY BETTER then the rest of the books in the series. Sorry not sorry.
Rhys and Feyre had a baby! I love so much!
I did miss some of the original characters. Rhys, Feyre, Amren, Mor, Lucian and Elaine. We did not get as much read time with them as I would have liked. But that just means there is room for more books and many more stories to tell! - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Definitely my least favorite of the ACOTAR series. Nesta just has no redeeming qualities to me and I hate when people use their trauma as an excuse to be crappy. Cassian deserves better.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I love the whole series! Nesta's and Cassian's story is particularly hot!
I wish more women would write fantasy! - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5A great series, but it get progressively more sexually explicit the further you get. This last book is really graphic.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Absolutely loved this is my 2nd time listening and it only got better
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I laughed, cried, sweared and my heart skipped a beat sometimes. That is in my opinion a perfect book!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Another really good entry into this world told from the view of a different sister. I really enjoyed this story, at times it was a bit more graphic than I like but other than that I really enjoyed this story. No one talks about healing and mental health while still using it as a the backbone for a story and weaving it into that story like Sarah J Maas.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This is amazing! Breathtaking! And a happy ever after for Nesta. She and her sisters deserve it?
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A great book for the three heroines and hopefully more to come.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5My favorite books in this series is this one and a court of mist and fury. All stories are worth sharing and I’m glad Nesta gets her time in the Sun.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I loved this book. I thought it was a great addition to the ACOTAR series. Nesta was so beautifully broken. Stina Nielsen killed the narration! I’ve listened to other audio books done by her and have loved every single one! She has an amazing voice. I just want to listen to her everyday (which I have to listen to this longggg audio book). I listen to my books at 2x and sometimes the narration can get jumbled but not with Stina. Her voice is clear every time.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I have always loved Nesta. She's understandably hated by most readers but I think that's because we were never given her full story. We never saw inside her thoughts or felt her feelings. And even this book she was in third person. (Partially I think feyre and Rhys were written in 1st person because they're damati) even with Nesta being in third person shows the walls she puts up for everyone around her.
I loved this book.
For me it's a tie for first with mist and fury. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This is easily one of my favorite books. Not suited for kids under 13 or 14 but it’s a great series non the less
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5As much as I LOVE Rhys and Feyre's story . . .
I think this might be my favorite of ALL the books. I honestly just thought Nesta was just a hateful bitch. And I couldn't understand how she, as the oldest, could not only just sit at home while Feyre figured out how to put food on the table, but also have the nerve to be rude and constantly fight with the only person who had guts enough to make sure they all ate. But I get it now. This book explained soooo much and I'm relieved it ended in a HFN.
5 stars - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Absolutely amazing ? ? such a great story! This made me love and understand nesta! More spice than the others??
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5After getting on the Mass train so late I had to read this one immediately.
Sorry TBR.
And omg I LOOOOVED it.
I will be the first one to say I HATED Nesta like there's a line in being a bitch and just being whatever she was. I didn't like it or how she treated her sister.
But in this one. You get to see inside that vipers mind and see why she is the way she is. We see her hit rock bottom....and a few steps, but climb out of that darkness.
And I've liked Cass from the beginning because he's a hunk, yeah, but because he's goofy. And him and Az deserve the whole freaking world. So getting more of his back story is heartbreaking but the reason he shares it is so heart warming.
Oh did I mention smut? Like Mass did NOT hold back....well other than that rumored 3 some they didn't want her putting in there ? but it was still implied and man that's one I didn't know I needed and now I do...... ??
And yes Feyre and Rhys are in this....still smashing ? but they give off more of the parent vibe in this one to me. I don't know if it's the situation or what.
So far .... This is my favorite one ??♀️ - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5What an incredible book, and what an amazing audio performance. So full of drama and emotion, it really brought the story to life. Nesta and Cassian's book was all I hoped it would be!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Super necessary story for closure in order to heal nesta from the traumatic events of ACOWAR.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Wow. I don't usually write reviews but. This book!!!! This is by far my favorite put of the series. Things were put right. Ending were tied up. I struggled with some of the immature actions some of the other books showed reguarding the main characters. The sticking out of the tongues and the "gave a vulgar gesture" stuff simply didn't make since given the adult nature of the problems and situations the characters were being put in. It felt weird they would save the world and have sex then stick their tongue out at someone over dinner. This book didn't have that. All the characters were mature and the actions matched their ages.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Fantastic could not put it down. What a great series
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I read the book first and then listened to this for my SJM fixed. I absolutely loved it and the spice!!!!
Cassian and Nesta will forever be dear to my heart and I will also be fighting Nesta's corner. Her character development throughout this storyline is insane and the narration was so fitting for her character. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Wow I loved this book and really didn’t expect it. As someone who has depression and trauma this really struck a cord with me and showed how trauma can damage you, and how to cope with it. I cried multiple times and even healed along with her. I adore her and Cassian together, perfect match honestly. It’s cool to see how different couples show different levels of compatibility. Cannot wait for more books!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This is the best one. It does seem to mirror the entire series before it, but this is how the books should have been written.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Didn’t want the series to end. Love these characters. Will be reading again
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Tugs on the heart strings. Loved this book so much!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I started reading/listening to this book just to spend more time in Velaris; I've never been a huge fan of Nesta's character, you see. But the journey we take with her through this book has this lifting up to one of my favourites. Well written and teeming with empathy. I'm not thrilled by this narrator's style, personally; she interpreted tones far different than I do, but she did a decent job.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I’ve been skeptical about this series from the start and am really only sticking through it because I want to finish something I started. That being said, this is easily the best book in the series for me. I liked the different narrating style and character focus. Refreshing to have a new perspective in this world.
