    A man looking to connect with his estranged brother (estranged because of their homophobic parents) figures that competing in a wakeboarding contest is the way to do it. Problem is, he has never wakeboarded before, so he asks a former pro, who left the sport due to injury, to coach him. Vanessa North’s m/m romances always touch far more than just the couple in the book; she deals with internal struggles, external disapproval, and familial conflicts as adeptly as she describes what happens between the two men when they’re alone.

      It was very cute. I enjoyed it and the length is just right.

      The story was great, five star material, up until drama entered the picture. The author kinda dropped the ball from there on.
      Not sure if she got bored of writing the book or if she just didn't know how to write the things she wanted to happen.
