Social ramifications…
If you spend hours debating the ramifications of choices made in time travel stories, this is definitely the book for you. Science writer Elizabeth Howell delves into the social science aspects of plenty of popular and obscure time travel works, from H.G. Wells’ “The Time Machine” to “The Terminator” franchise, to show how our morality has shifted through the decades. A fascinating essay collection on an endlessly imaginative subject.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5"This book is supposed to be about time travel, right"? She said towards the end. I nodded. I found the frequent asides about gender, sexual orientation and feminism grated a little. Are not there just two sexes and 50 percent male and 50 percent female?
But otherwise she was informative when on her subject and writes in an enjoyable style.1 person found this helpful
