Her first unpublished novel, The Black Letter, took first place in the 2011 Southwest Writers International Writing Contest (historical fiction category), and an honorable mention at the 2012 Soul-Making Keats Literary Competition. She lives in New Mexico.

The characters and the storyline are well developed and grounded in human experience in a way that is relatable across cultural, societal, and temporal boundaries. Narrator is excellent as well!
