Her Irish great-grandparents arrived and stayed in this place as they followed the railroads west. She is retired from 30-year career in the newspaper business, and she and her husband travel frequently to Ireland. These journeys brought her attention to the remarkable similarities between ancient Irish practices and the traditional beliefs of the Crow Indians and provided the basis for her Magpie Odyssey series.view less
