Raymond J Golarz received his Doctorate in Education from Indiana University. He taught middle and high school, and then served as Director of Child Welfare Services working with the poor and delin...view moreRaymond J Golarz received his Doctorate in Education from Indiana University. He taught middle and high school, and then served as Director of Child Welfare Services working with the poor and delinquent gangs in the same neighborhoods where he spent his early childhood. He taught at St. Joseph’s College, Purdue Calumet, Indiana University, and City College in Seattle. Near Chicago he taught Psychology for Law Enforcement officers for 10 years. He has been a superintendent of schools, later keynoting major conferences in virtually every state and most Canadian Provinces. He is the author or co-author of nine books including The Problem Isn’t Teachers, The Power of Participation and Sweet Land of Liberty.
He enjoys oil painting, and woodworking. He and his wife Marion have six children and ten grandchildren. They reside in Bloomington Indiana with their boxer dog Cooper and cat Patches. His email address is mjgolarz@live.com.view less
