Since Cheri also stutters, she had a special interest in finding techniques that decrease stuttering, while giving those who stutter more control over their speech. The Cheri J. Stretch Technique for Fluency, to help control and reduce stuttering, was developed out of her great concern for her students who stuttered. The Cheri J.
