His work has appeared in various martial arts magazines and his screenplay, Aliens Among Us, reached the quarterfinal round of the 1996 Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition. When not writing, Juan trains in Taekwondo, teaches middle school Health and Physical Education, runs an after school creative writing program, coaches high school girls’ volleyball, and watches as many Arsenal matches as he can. He lives in New Jersey with his wife, son and dog.view less
