She moved to Grand Forks in 2002 with her husband and son. She is a freelance writer who has published articles in the Grand Forks Herald in 2005 and 2006. She has been participating in the annual Writers Conference at the University of North Dakota since 2005. The present collection, The Sailor of the Seven Seas, is her fourth book. Her first book of poems translated from English, Moni Monjusha, was published in Dhaka, Bangladesh, in November 1979. Her second, Tribute to Tagore, was published by Trafford Publishing in July 2012, and her third, Accolades, also by Trafford in April 2013.view less
