She attended Benedictine College and played basketball while earning her degree in Computer Science...view moreJudy Allston, married with two children was born and rasied in the Chicago area. She attended Benedictine College and played basketball while earning her degree in Computer Science. After graduation she was a computer programmer for 10 years and then decided to stay home to raise her two children. The family relocated to Palm Harbor, Florida in 2000. After many hours of volunteering at her children's school, she decided in 2001, to become substitue teacher. In 2004 she was named the Volunteer of the Year award at her children's elementary school. Since that time, she has taught all elementary grades but, especially loves to work in Kindergarten. Over the past 10+ years she has read hundreds of books to children but never one about how and why our shoelaces come undone!view less
