Mr. Casto served in Vietnam in 1970. He graduated from Fairmont State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in technology. He graduated from Fairmont State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in technology. He was a quality engineer on the A-10 Thunderbolt (Warthog), F-14, AWACS, and Department of Energy intelligence-gathering satellites.
He then worked on the KY-65 and KG-84 cryptographic telephonic equipment and on the Single Channel Objective Tactical Terminal (SCOTT) for satellite communications. Next he worked on simulator for C-5 Aircraft and M-1A Abram tank. Then came the Electronic Warfare Land Based Vehicles and Automatic Fire Sensing and Suppression System (AFSSS).
He moved to the Air Force Satellite Intelligence Gathering and Imagining Systems. After 9/11, he then took a government position on the Iraq Survey Team, looking for weapons of mass destruction.
Mr. Casto has been awarded several medals and commendations for his service to the country. He is a member of Epsilon Pi Tau, International Honors Fraternity for Achievements in Technology.
Mr. Casto is married and lives with his wife, two mastiff s, and a St. Bernard.view less
