After a couple of years working as a reporter and columnist for a small weekly newspaper she worked for awhile as a freelance writer.
During her years as a stay-at-home mom she continued her writing, this time venturing into fiction. After a brief stint as a library tech in elementary and high schools, she and her family moved from California to Colorado where most of her stories take place.
She lives with her husband, two sons, two dogs and a motley collection of birds and fish in Colorado Springs, CO where she is currently at work on her next novel.view less
