(Dir Ike Schambelan). It is being published by Playscripts. An adaptation of Ann Bannon’s lesbian pulp novels from the 1950’s, The Beebo Brinker Chronicles, written with Linda S. Chapman ran off-Broadway (director Leigh Silverman).It was produced by Harriet Leve, Lily Tomlin and Jane Wagner. It recently premiered at Brava Theater in San Francisco. It won the 2008 GLAAD Media Award and is published by Dramatists Play Service. 25 Questions for a Jewish Mother, written with and for Judy Gold, enjoyed a long-running Off-Broadway engagement, winning a 2007 GLAAD Media Award and earning Ms. Gold a Drama Desk Award nomination for Best Actress. It recently finished a two and half year national tour. A book based on the play was released by Hyperion/Voice and recently nominated for a Quill Award. Other projects include an adaptation of Moscow playwright Olga Mukhina’s Tanya Tanya, which premiered in December at Towson University and was directed by Yury Ournov, OTMA was produced by Atlantic Theater (directed by Karen Kohlhaas). It has received productions in Russia and around the country It is published by Playscripts.. Cavedweller an adaptation of Dorothy Allison’s bestselling novel at New York Theater Workshop (director Michael Grief). She has been the recipient of numerous fellowships most recently from Sundance Institute, Alfred P. Sloan Foundation and the Center for International Theater Development. She is an alumna of New Dramatists, received her MFA from Columbia University and started her career with the Young Playwrights Festiva.view less
