She is past president of Columbus Christian Writer’s Association and served...view moreBarbara Taylor Sanders has a writing goal to impact a generation of women with the love of Jesus Christ. She is past president of Columbus Christian Writer’s Association and served on the board of Teen Challenge Columbus and the Columbus Prayer Summit. She studied Creative Writing at Otterbein College and earned a BA in Theology from Vision Bible College & Seminary. She’s been an advocate to women and has worked tirelessly to help the poor and disadvantaged through foster care, volunteer service at Scioto Village Correctional Institute, Children’s Hospital, the Legal Aid Society of Columbus, and Metro Harvest.
Barbara is married to Daryl Sanders who played for the NFL as a number one draft choice from Ohio State University under Coach Woody Hayes. They were active in community service while living in Ohio. They now reside in SW Florida. They are community leaders and both served on the executive committee for the Greater Columbus Billy Graham Crusade. They’ve organized numerous goodwill evangelistic teams and taken medical supplies to Russia, Africa, Ukraine, and Lagos, Nigeria. They are the parents of five adult children reared in Powell, Ohio.
