After a busy a...view moreBarb Keeling spent 15 years in San Francisco and New York doing t.v. commercials, voice over, short story narrations, and appearance on The Edge of Night soap opera. After a busy acting career she and her husband Doug, returned to southern California and opened a needlecraft business where they in part designed Cloth dolls and patterns. They were also busy demonstrators traveling to consummer shows to demo craft products. Barb also writes "How To" articles for craft products. She designs a project then writes the story on how to do it. These are used for magazines and books. When their first great granddaughter was born they designed a doll for her. Barb soon turned the doll into Mrs. GilleyWilley a Magical Nanny and began writing adventure stories which they sent to the great gran. After nine years the stories have grown and grown and become a series of a little girl, a talking teddy bear and the Nanny. The stories are filled with great magical sillyness and fun but each story has a featured message of good manners carefully written into the story. Her husband Doug has created adorable illustrations for the books and a color book They have decided to publish the stories in a series. So far there are 6 books. We have cloth doll patterns for the characters in the stories. Barb is narrating the books including the cartoon voices for the characters.view less
