He and his family moved to Jacksonville, Florida; when he was three years old. He was basically raised in Jacksonville; but attended High School at Staten Island, New York; from which he was expelled at the end of his junior year. Tony completed his high school education by graduating from Paxon Senior High School, Jacksonville, Fla. Tony Korey went on to Georgia State University, Atlanta, GA., where he was awarded both his Bachelor’s in English; and Master’s in Criminal Justice. Anthony Korey is happily married to his precious wife, Barbara, for almost 47 years. He has two dear children, Scott and Kelly; and three wonderful grandchildren, Sean, Korey, and Krissy. They all presently reside in the metropolitan Atlanta, Ga., area. Anthony Korey Retired, as the Director of the Fulton County Public Safety Training Center, from the Fulton County Police Department after thirty-two years of service. He retired at the rank of Deputy Chief of Police. He is presently a fulltime instructor in Criminal Justice at a college in Metropolitan Atlanta. This is Anthony Korey’s first novel. It is fiction mainly to keep from having to give real names of all of those who were involved. The basis for the novel, however, is based upon actual facts. Some areas of the book are, obviously, exaggerated, expounded upon, and purely fictitious. It is a mystery and it is filled with both suspense and intrigue. It took many years to write this first novel, mainly because of the difficulty associated with having to face the reality of those parts of the book, which are factual. It is the author’s hope that everyone who reads this story will understand the difficulty of having to deal with child abuse. It is his opinion that the only true way to recover is to find the “Road back to God.”view less
