My primary interests lie in the area of technology such as speech recognition, additive manufacturing and ideas such as chaos theory. I use writing as a way to focus these interests and see how they interact with my characters.
I am a firm believer in transformational experiences especially those that occur due to mother nature. My first story, Venture Capital (formally Deluge), revolves around one such experience.
The story is based around the floods that occurred in Mumbai in July 2006. At the time, I was safely ensconced on the 11th floor ofa building in the northern suburbs of Mumbai. I missed it all thanks to the power outage that affected us.
It was only after the floods, and when I saw the pictures on television, I learned what I had lived through.
