Controlled horror is horror with a purpose. I've learned this from them while observing their excitement during playground breaks. A monster is always chasing them and when someone gets caught by the monster one of them takes center stage and tells why and how the victim was caught. I write for them and the drama and excitement and controlled why---horror that they seek.view less
