Born in Washington, D.C. and raised in nearby Maryland, Kimberly spent many childhood days with her nose tucked in a book – often bypassing “real fun” for an imaginary adventure within its pages. A creative storyteller from her early years on, Kimberly’s writing is inspired by the children in her family and a desire to share her warm heart, love of Christ and whimsical sense of humor. Kimberly is known as the family comedian, and often incorporates frivolity and rhyme in her works.
Kimberly lives in Maryland with her husband, Keith, her son, Aaron, and two dogs, Vegas and Reno.
