Anita Price Davis earned her doctorate at Duke University; a college professor and public school teacher for 41 years, she has authored or coauthored six books featuring Rutherford County. Mike Rhyne earned his bachelor of science and master of science degrees in engineering from North Carolina State University and is director of the Colfax Museum in Ellenboro; a current resident of Colfax Township, Mike is an Ellenboro town alderman. Scott Withrow earned his bachelor of science and master of arts degrees at Appalachian State University and his master of recreation and park administartion degree from Clemson University; a public school and college teacher, he serves as an interpretive park ranger for the National Park Service at Cowpens National Battlefield.view less
