Twiss, author of the fantasy novels Fenn and Echo Cross, was born and raised in Worcester, Massachusetts. She has a BA in English from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut and an MA in Victorian Studies from the University of Leicester. While doing her undergraduate work Rachel spent time in Dingle, Ireland she fell in love with far away islands and fairytale worlds. Her love of Ireland has colored her writing ever since.view less
