This story is dedicated to my deceased husband, J.C. Hamilton, a pediatric nurse who cared for dying children every day and who, when he was dying himself, asked me to write this story to help children understand life and death a little better. It took me since 1997 to find my way to write it.
I currently live in a small, rural community in central PA. I,too, am a registered nurse but since 2007 I have been the President/CEO of our local hospital.view less
