Having experienced this herself with her Dad, Lisa knows having a family member in a nursing home is extremely challenging. This motivated her to create the NursingHomeology website, and provide guidance and support to everyone who is managing a loved one’s care in a nursing home.
Lisa is a graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. After working in the corporate world for several decades, she finally had her aha moment and got off the hamster wheel to embrace work that resonates with her spirit and makes a lasting impact on people’s lives. As a journalist and author, Lisa is also an Alzheimer’s Advocate, Long-Term Care Advocate, and an Elder Care Specialist.
She has a heart for nonpareils and Russell Crowe’s movies, and a passion for books, eco-conscious living, and animal rights.
